A COG, azaz fogazott bioszálak hasonló elven működnek, mint a vékonyszálas arcfeszesítés. Ugyanúgy PDO, azaz poli-dioxán anyagból készülnek, de jóval vastagabbak és erőteljesen fogazottak.
